    Vegetable: Slow Cooked Squash Medley

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 pounds zucchini
    • 1 1/2 pounds summer squash
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
    • 3 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
    • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cut all of the squash into 1/2 inch pieces. Place inthe bottom of a crockpot. Sprinkle with salt, pepperand garlic powder. Dot with butter; sprinkle with crumbs and cheese. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or until tender.

    2. This recipe yields 6 servings.
