Vegetable: Stuffed Peppers

- 6 bell peppers
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, uncooked
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 cup minute rice, uncooked
- 1 (25 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Instructions
- Cut off tops off peppers and clean them out.
- Combine remaining ingredients, except spaghetti sauce and stuff peppers.
- Place in crockpot and add spaghetti sauce.
- Shake parmesan cheese over the top.
- Turn on high for 1 hour, then low for 7 more hours.
- If you have left over meat mixture, brown in pan and sprinkle on top of peppers.
