Peaches N' Cream Cheesecake

- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (3 ounce) package cook and serve vanilla pudding mix
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 ( 15 to 20 ounce) can sliced peaches (2 cups)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons peach syrup
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 or 10 inch pie pan or 8 inch deep cake pan. Drain peaches reserving liquid for syrup used in filling.
- In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla
pudding mix, butter, and milk. Blend at low speed until
moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into greased pan. Arrange peaches over batter.
- In small bowl combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, peach syrup and beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Spoon to within 1" of edge of batter. Combine 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over entire thing.
- Bake 30 to 35 min. until crust is brown (filling soft). Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.
