    List of Ingredients


    • 3 whole eggs
    • 3 egg whites
    • 2 ounces of cream cheese
    • 1 can of evaporated milk
    • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
    • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
    • 3/4 cup sugar


    Instructions


    1. Take the sugar and carmelize it in a small saucepan. Do not let the sugar burn. It should be a golden caramel color. Pour this caramel into an 8 inch round dish. Make sure to coat the bottom and sides of the pan.
    2. Place all other ingredients in a blender and mix until it has a smooth consistency. Pour into the pan filled with caramel. Place pan in "bano de maria". Bano de maria is a larger pan that has been filled with an inch of water. This will help cook the flan. Place the larger pan with flan pan in it in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
    3. You can check the flan by poking the center with a knife. If the knife comes out clean then the flan is done.
