    Beef: Baked Taco Salad

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pounds ground beef
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 1 soup can milk
    • 1 tablespoon chili powder
    • 12 hard taco shells crushed and divided
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheese or more
    • shredded lettuce
    • 2 tomatoes chopped
    • taco sauce (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef and drain. Return to pan and add onion, tomato sauce and chili powder.

    2. Crush 12 taco shells and line the bottom of a 9x13" baking dish with half of them. Layer meat mixture on top of the crushed taco shells. Top meat mixture with remaining 1/2 crushed taco shells.

    3. Mix soup with 1 soup can of milk and pour over taco shells. Top with shredded cheese and bake, covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

    4. Serve with lettuce and tomatoes on top of each serving and taco sauce, if desired.
