    Broiled Lemon Fish Fillets

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound orange roughy, tilapia or mild fish fillets
    • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil
    • Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
    • Salt and pepper to season


    Instructions


    1. Combine the butter and basil in a small bowl.
    2. Place fillets on a lightly greased broiler pan.
    3. Spread the fillets with half of the butter mixture.
    4. Broil 5 to 8 inches from the heat for 5 minutes.
    5. Turn and spread with remaining butter mixture.
    6. Squeeze the lemon juice over fillets and broil another 4 to 5 minutes or until fish flakes easliy with a fork.
