    Broiled Sea Scallops

    • 1 pound jumbo sea scallops
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1/4 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
    • juice from 1 fresh lemon
    • 1 tablespoon parsley
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • paprika


    Instructions


    1. Rinse sea scallops in cold water and drain in a colander.
    2. Melt butter in a saucepan and add lemon juice.
    3. Add garlic powder and parsley, stir.
    4. Place scallops in a baking dish.
    5. Pour butter sauce over scallops.
    6. Sprinkle lightly with bread crumbs and paprika.
    7. Place in preheated broiler.
    8. Cook 6 to 8 minutes or until scallops lose their glassy shine.
    9. Serve over fresh spinach and top with slices of red onion.
