Broiled Sea Scallops

- 1 pound jumbo sea scallops
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
- juice from 1 fresh lemon
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- paprika
Instructions
- Rinse sea scallops in cold water and drain in a colander.
- Melt butter in a saucepan and add lemon juice.
- Add garlic powder and parsley, stir.
- Place scallops in a baking dish.
- Pour butter sauce over scallops.
- Sprinkle lightly with bread crumbs and paprika.
- Place in preheated broiler.
- Cook 6 to 8 minutes or until scallops lose their glassy shine.
- Serve over fresh spinach and top with slices of red onion.
