    Emeril's Buttercream Frosting

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
    • 1/4 cup butter, softened
    • 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 2 tablespoons milk (2 to 3)


    Instructions


    1. In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the cheese and butter.
    2. Add the sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing after each addition.
    3. Add the vanilla and milk and mix well.
    4. Add a couple drops of food coloring and mix well.
    5. Yield: about 1 1/2 to 2 cups frosting.
