List of Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/3 cups evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook sausage in a heavy nonstick skillet until well browned, stirring to crumble.
- Remove with slotted spoon.
- Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
- Add flour to pan and cook 1 minute over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
- Add more milk for thinner gravy.
- Stir in pepper and sausage and cook until hot.
- Serve over biscuits or toast.
