Instead of boiling your noodles, spaghetti, macaroni, or any other pasta product: bring the water to boiling; place pasta to be cooked in the boiling water.

Bring water back to the boil and then turn heat OFF.

Immediately cover pot/pan with lid. Set timer and let stand for the same number of minutes that the package instructions call for to cook the pasta. Drain and use.
