    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 cup buttermilk baking mix
    • 2 tablespoon cornmeal
    • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
    • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
    • 8 to 10 frankfurters
    • Oil for deep frying


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Coat frankfurters with batter. Fry in hot oil in skillet until brown; drain.
    2. Yield: 4 servings
