    Beef: Cabbage Casserole

    • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
    • 1 package onion soup mix
    • 1 can healthy request tomato soup
    • 1 soup can water
    • 1 1/2 cups cooked rice (use regular, not instant rice)
    • 2 cups coarsely chopped cabbage, more or less


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop the cabbage; place in bottom of casserole dish that has been sprayed with vegetable cooking spray. Brown the ground beef and drain the fat; add the tomato soup, water, onion soup mix and rice; mix well. Place the beef mixture over the cabbage. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hrs. Stir before serving.
