    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 pound turkey kielbasa
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 2 cups sauerkraut
    • 4 potatoes
    • 1 can fat free chicken broth
    • 2 tablespoons fat free cheddar cheese, grated


    Instructions


    1. Spray a skillet with vegetable oil cooking spray.
    2. Slice kielbasa and brown with onions in skillet.
    3. Drain and rinse sauekraut; then add it to the skillet with enough chicken broth to hold it together.
    4. Place the saurkraut mixture in an 8" square casserole dish that has been sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.
    5. Boil and mash the potatoes; adding enough of the chicken broth to make the right consistency.
    6. Place the mashed potatoes over the saurkraut and sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.
    7. Bake covered for 30 minutes, uncover and bake for 10 minutes more. Then place briefly under the broiler to lightly brown the cheese.
    8. Serves: 4
    9. Per Serving: 180 Calories; trace Fat (1.5% calories from fat); 12g Protein; 35g Carbohydrate; 5g Dietary Fiber; 18mg Cholesterol; 1415mg Sodium. Exchanges: 2 Grain(Starch); 1 Lean Meat; 1 1/2 Vegetable.
