    Southwestern Pork Chops

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 4 pork rib chops
    • 1 cup salsa
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1/4 cup shredded monterey jack cheese


    Instructions


    1. Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat.

    2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.

    3. Saute pork chops 2 minutes per side.

    4. Add salsa and cumin.

    5. Reduce heat to medium low.

    6. Cover skillet and simmer 6 to 7 minutes, or until pork is cooked throughout.

    7. Spoon sauce over pork and sprinkle with cheese.

    8. Makes 4 servings.
