    Sweet And Sour Wings

    • 3 pounds chicken wings (about 28 wing pieces or 18 drumettes)
    • 1 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/4 cup white vinegar
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 tablespoon onions flakes
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard


    Instructions


    1. Discard tip and cut wings apart at joint.

    2. Place chicken pieces in a 5- quart slow cooker.

    3. Mix brown sugar and flour well in a saucepan.

    4. Add water, vinegar and ketchup; stir.

    5. Add remaining 5 ingredients.

    6. Heat and stir until boiling and thickened.

    7. Pour over wings.

    8. Cover and cook on low for 8 or 9 hours or high for 4 to 4 1/2 hours.

    9. Serve from slow cooker or remove to platter.

    10. Makes 28 wing pieces or about 18 drumettes.
