    Beef: Beef Teriyaki

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak 3/4" thick
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 1 (14 1/2) ounce can beef broth
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 4 cups broccoli florets
    • 4 cups hot cooked rice cooked without salt


    Instructions


    1. Slice beef into very thin strips.

    2. Mix cornstarch, broth, soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic powder.

    3. Stir fry beef in a nonstick skillet until browned and juices evaporate.

    4. Add broccoli and cornstarch mixture.

    5. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.

    6. Serve over rice.

    7. Makes 4 servings at 7 points each.
