Beef: Belgian Meat Balls

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon each, salt and pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; blend well. Roll into balls, then roll in flour and brown them in an oven proof skillet or dutch oven. Drain off excess grease. Add 1/4 cup flour to 1 1/2 to 2 cups tomatoes or tomato juice and pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until done.
