Pork: Pork Chops And Pinto Beans

List of Ingredients
- 4 center cut pork loin chops
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, undrained
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Trim fat from pork chops. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with 1 teaspoon ground cumin, garlic powder, ground red pepper and salt.
- Place pork chops on rack of broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil pork chops 5 1/2 inches from heat, 5 minutes on each side.
- While pork chops broil, combine remaining teaspoon ground cumin, beans and remaining 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered, 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve pork chops with beans.
