Southwest Summer Pork Chops

- 4 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 6 bone in pork loin chops
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients; rub over chops. Place pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag. In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce and lemon juice. Pour over chops. Gently rub bag to distribute sauce. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
- If grilling the pork chops, coat the grill rack with nonstick cooking spray before starting the grill. Grill chops, covered, over medium heat or broil 6 inches from the heat for 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
