    Basil Shrimp And Pasta

    List of Ingredients


    • 8 ounces dry pasta, cooked and drained
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 1 fresh garlic clove, minced
    • 2 cups half and half
    • 1/3 cup McCormick Fresh Basil, coarsely chopped
    • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese or crumbled goat cheese
    • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Ground Black Pepper


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add shrimp and garlic. Sauté 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Remove shrimp from skillet.
    2. Pour half and half into skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring gently. Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
    3. Add shrimp, basil, cheese and black pepper. Stir and heat through. Transfer to a warmed serving bowl; add pasta and toss lightly. If desired, sprinkle with additional chopped basil leaves.
    4. Yield: 4 servings (612 calories each)
