List of Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped, uncooked chicken (1/2 pound)
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup chopped celery
- 1 small minced garlic clove
- 1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
Instructions
- Cook chicken, onions, peppers, celery and garlic in large skillet over medium high heat, 3 to 4 minutes or until chicken is lightly browned and vegetables are tender.
- Add remaining ingredients, except rice.
- Bring to a full boil, reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered, about 10 minutes.
- Serve over hot cooked rice.
