    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 cup chopped, uncooked chicken (1/2 pound)
    • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1/3 cup chopped celery
    • 1 small minced garlic clove
    • 1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans
    • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
    • 3 cups hot cooked rice


    Instructions


    1. Cook chicken, onions, peppers, celery and garlic in large skillet over medium high heat, 3 to 4 minutes or until chicken is lightly browned and vegetables are tender.
    2. Add remaining ingredients, except rice.
    3. Bring to a full boil, reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered, about 10 minutes.
    4. Serve over hot cooked rice.
