Chicken With Broccoli And Garlic

List of Ingredients
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 medium skinless, boneless chicken thighs (about 12 ounces total)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bulb garlic , separated into cloves and sliced (about 1/4 cup)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 cups packaged shredded broccoli (broccoli slaw mix)
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans toasted
Instructions
- In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper.
- Add chicken, shaking to coat.
- In a large skillet, cook chicken in hot oil over medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is tender nd no longer pink, turning once.
- Transfer chicken to a serving platter; cover and keep warm.
- Add garlic to skillet. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
- Add broth, vinegar, and honey.
- Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
- Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Stir in broccoli.
- Return to boiling; reduce heat.
- Simmer, covered for 5 to 8 minutes more or until broccoli is tender.
- Stir in pecans.
- Spoon the broccoli mixture over chicken.
- Makes 4 servings.
