Cresent Chicken Rolls

- 1 (8 ounce) can cresent dinner rolls
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup half and half cream or milk
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- Chopped onion
- 1 cup grated cheese, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter a casserole dish. In a saucepan, mix half and half, 3/4 cup grated cheese and chicken soup. Heat just until cheese melts, do not boil. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add in the chopped chicken and onion, mix well until combined. Roll up 1 tablespoon (or a little more) of mixture in the cresent rolls. Drizzle small amount of soup mixture on the bottom of the dish. Then place the cresent rolls, seam side down on top of the creamed mixture in the casserole. Drizzle the remaining sauce on top (you don't have to use the full amount of cream sauce, just use as much as desired) and sprinkle with 1 cup grated cheese, or amount desired. Bake for about 30 minutes.
