    Heinz 57 Peppers And Chicken Bake

    • 12 chicken thighs or chicken breasts
    • 6 green peppers, cored, seeded and cut into quarters
    • 6 to 8 stalks fresh celery, cut into small diced pieces, include leaves
    • 1 teaspoon thyme
    • 2/3 cup Heinz 57 steak sauce
    • 1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 cup lemon juice
    • 1/4 cup margarine
    • 1/4 cup paprika
    • Pam cooking spray


    Instructions


    1. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with Pam. Lay green pepper quarters with cut side up. Put diced celery in each pepper. Sprinkle each quarter with thyme. In a mixing bowl, add Heinz 57 sauce, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and margarine. Mix well.
    2. Place chicken pieces over each pepper quarter. Sprinkle paprika over chicken. Spoon sauce mixture over chicken. Cover or foil the top. Refrigerate or bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes, Allow extra time if refrigerated, about 10 more minutes. Note: You may add 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the sauce mixture if you like it hot. This is optional.
