    50's Style Creamed Chicken

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (10 ounce) can chunk chicken breast, drained and flaked
    • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    • 1 (12 ounce) bag egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
    • 1/2 cup chopped onions
    • 2 teaspoons olive oil
    • 1 cup sour cream


    Instructions


    1. Cook the onion in the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, until tender, Dump in the chicken and stir. Cook for 1 minute, Stir in the soup and mushrooms. Simmer for 10 minutes, Stir in the sour cream over low heat. Heat through and serve over the cooked noodles.
    2. Yield: 6 servings
