    Green Bean Almond Rice

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
    • 3 cups cooked brown rice (cooked in beef broth)
    • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen French style green beans, thawed
    • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves, crushed


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium high heat. Add almonds; stir until lightly browned.

    2. Add onion and bell pepper; cook 2 minutes or until tender. Add rice, beans, white pepper, and tarragon. Stir until thoroughly heated.

    3. Makes 8 servings
