List of Ingredients



• 1 teaspoon bacon grease
  
• 2 tablespoons crumbled, cooked bacon
  
• 1/4 cup diced onion
  
• 1 teaspoon salt
  
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  
• 1 1/2 cups hot water
  
• 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen green beans (need not be thawed)
  






Instructions



1. In a large pot, place bacon grease, bacon, onion, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until onions are golden brown.
   
   
2. Stir in hot water.
   
   
3. Add green beans and cook, stirring often, until beans change color (about 5 minutes).
   
   
4. Drain water and serve.
   
   
5. Serves 4 to 6 as a side dish.
