    German Potato Salad With Smoked Sausage

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into chunks
    • 6 medium red potatoes, peeled
    • 5 bacon slices
    • 1/2 cup chopped onions
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1 tablespoon flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/3 cup vinegar


    Instructions


    1. Boil potatoes until tender, drain and cut into 1/4 inch slices. In a large skillet cook bacon til crisp, remove and drain, then crumble.
    2. Add the onion into the bacon drippings and saute. Stir in the sugar, flour, pepper and salt. Add bacon, bouillon, water and vinegar and cook until sauce boils and thickens. Add in potato slices and gently toss. Add in sausage and toss, til heated through. Garnish with some chopped parsley and serve.
