Smoked Cheese Sauce

- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded smoked Cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
- 2 drops red pepper sauce (2 to 3 drops)
Instructions
- Melt margarine in 1 quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in broth and worcestershire sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in cheese and pepper sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted. Serve chicken with sauce.
