    Ham Stew For Two

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4" cubes
    • 2 medium carrots, sliced
    • 1 1/2 cups fully cooked ham, cubed
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried savory
    • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
    • 3 tablespoons flour
    • 1 cup milk


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan, combine the first 9 ingredients.
    2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until vegetables are tender.
    3. In small bowl, combine the flour and milk until smooth.
    4. Stir into stew. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

    5. Discard bay leaf before serving.


    6. Yield: 2 servings
