Ham Stew For Two

List of Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4" cubes
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups fully cooked ham, cubed
- 1 cup water
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried savory
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the first 9 ingredients.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until vegetables are tender.
- In small bowl, combine the flour and milk until smooth.
- Stir into stew. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- Discard bay leaf before serving.
- Yield: 2 servings
