List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped carots
- 2 (16 ounce) cans tomato puree
- 3 cups water
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup barley
- 5 potatoes, diced
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 teaspoons accent
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Fry ground beef in soup pot; drain. Add the rest of the ingredients, except potatoes. Cook until vegetables are tender, not mushy. Add potatoes and cook until tender.
