    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
    • 3 1/2 cups water
    • 3 beef bouillon cubes
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 (10 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
    • 1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1/4 teaspoon basil
    • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
    • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
    • 3 carrots sliced
    • 1 stalk celery chopped
    • 3 medium potatoes cut into chunks
    • 1 (10 ounce) can or 1/2 bag frozen corn
    • 1 bag frozen italian vegetables


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef or turkey. Drain off fat.
    2. In a dutch oven or slow cooker, add meat, water, bouillon, onion, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, basil, oregano, chopped parsley, carrots, celery and potatoes.
    3. Simmer until vegetables are cooked through.
    4. Then add corn and italian vegetables and simmer until these have cooked.
    5. Remove bay leaf before serving.
    6. Good served with freshly baked bread or rolls.
