Handy Hamburger Soup

List of Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 (10 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 3 carrots sliced
- 1 stalk celery chopped
- 3 medium potatoes cut into chunks
- 1 (10 ounce) can or 1/2 bag frozen corn
- 1 bag frozen italian vegetables
Instructions
- Brown ground beef or turkey. Drain off fat.
- In a dutch oven or slow cooker, add meat, water, bouillon, onion, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, basil, oregano, chopped parsley, carrots, celery and potatoes.
- Simmer until vegetables are cooked through.
- Then add corn and italian vegetables and simmer until these have cooked.
- Remove bay leaf before serving.
- Good served with freshly baked bread or rolls.
