Polish Sausage Soup

List of Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound polish sausage
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups chopped celery and leaves
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups beef bouillon
- 5 cups water
- 3 cups cubed potatoes
Instructions
- Melt butter in skillet. Add sliced and quartered sausage, onion and celery. Cook until tender. Transfer to a Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 1 1/2 hours or until vegetables are done.
- Yield: 8 to 9 servings
