Potato Ham Chowder

List of Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (12 ounce) can whole kernel corn
- 2 cups left over ham, diced
- Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Peel and dice potatoes. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender. Add potatoes, water and seasonings. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Make paste of flour and 1/3 cup water. Add to potato mixture. Add milk and cook until slightly thickened. Stir in undrained corn and diced ham. Heat through. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Makes 6 servings
