    Quick And Easy Lasagna Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 pound ground beef
    • 1/2 pound mild/sweet bulk Italian sausage
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
    • 2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth
    • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
    • 1 1/2 cups cork screw pasta
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a large pan, cook beef and sausage over medium heat until browned. Add garlic, onion and green pepper and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until onion and green pepper are softened. Drain off fat. Add broth, tomatoes, salt and Italian seasoning; heat to boiling. Stir in pasta. Cook over medium heat about 12 minutes, or until pasta is cooked. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Place soup in 4 bowls. Sprinkle each bowl with Mozzarella cheese.
    2. Yield: 4 servings
