    Light Ranch Dressing Mix

    • 1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
    • 3 tablespoons dried minced onion
    • 2 teaspoons dried chives
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground celery seed
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/4 cup reduced calorie mayonnaise
    • 3/4 cup buttermilk


    Instructions


    1. Combine the first 7 ingredients in a small jar and mix well.
    2. Store in a cool, dry place (makes 1/2 cup of mix).
    3. To make dressing, combine 1 tablespoon of the dressing mix with the mayonnaise and mix thoroughly using a wire whisk.
    4. Slowly add the butter milk, stirring constantly until well mixed.
    5. Refrigerate in a tightly covered container.
    6. 2 tablespoons contains approxomately: 20 calories, Cholesterol 1 mg, Fat 1 g, Sodium 50 mg
    7. Yield: 1 cup
