Light Ranch Dressing Mix

- 1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
- 3 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 2 teaspoons dried chives
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup reduced calorie mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Combine the first 7 ingredients in a small jar and mix well.
- Store in a cool, dry place (makes 1/2 cup of mix).
- To make dressing, combine 1 tablespoon of the dressing mix with the mayonnaise and mix thoroughly using a wire whisk.
- Slowly add the butter milk, stirring constantly until well mixed.
- Refrigerate in a tightly covered container.
- 2 tablespoons contains approxomately: 20 calories, Cholesterol 1 mg, Fat 1 g, Sodium 50 mg
- Yield: 1 cup
