List of Ingredients



• 1 1/2 cups shortening
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
  
• 3 eggs
  
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  
• 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
  
• 1 teaspoon salt
  
• 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  
• 1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
  






Instructions



1. In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and peanuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minures or until lightly browned, Remove to wire racks.
   
2. Yield: 10 dozen
