Boiled Potatoes And Green Beans

- 1 pound fresh new potatoes (about 8)
- Water
- Kosher salt
- 3/4 pound trimmed green beans
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Place baby red potatoes in a large saucepan; add enough water to cover by 1 inch. Bring to a boil; add coarse salt and cook until potatoes are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon; slice in half. Add 3/4 pound trimmed green beans to boiling water and cook until crisp tender; 4 to 6 minutes. Drain; transfer vegetables to a medium bowl. Add 1 tablespoon butter; season with salt and ground black pepper. Toss.
