    Crockpot Venison Apple Cider Stew

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound venison stew meat (up to 2 pounds)
    • 8 carrots, sliced thin
    • 6 potatoes, sliced thin
    • 2 apples, chopped
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
    • 2 tablespoons minced onion
    • 2 cups apple cider


    Instructions


    1. Place carrots, potatoes and apples in crockpot.
    2. Add meat and sprinkle with salt, thyme and onion.
    3. Pour apple cider over meat.
    4. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
    5. Thicken gravy.
