    Apple Glazed Carrots

    List of Ingredients


    • I tablespoon butter
    • 1 pound baby carrots
    • 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
    • 1 teaspoon honey
    • 1 teaspoon green onion, minced


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

    2. Add carrots and saute until carrots begin to brown slightly, about 8 minutes.

    3. Add apple juice and honey and bring to a boil.

    4. Reduce heat and simmer until carrots are tender and liquid is reduced to a glaze, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.

    5. Transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with green onion tops and serve.

    6. Makes 4 servings at 105 calories each.
