    List of Ingredients


    • 1 spray cooking spray
    • 1 1/2 pounds uncooked lean ground beef (with 7% fat)
    • 1 cup rolled oats
    • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 tablespoon chili powder
    • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
    • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce, divided


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a loaf pan with cooking spray.
    2. Combine all ingredients, except half of the tomato sauce, together in a large mixing bowl; set remaining tomato sauce aside. Spoon meatloaf mixture into prepared pan and smooth top. Bake for 60 minutes; spoon remaining sauce over loaf and cook for 5 minutes more. Slice into 8 pieces.
