    Very most yummy homemade pie crust!!!

    List of Ingredients




    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 cup shortning
    1/2 tsp salt

    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp vinegar
    cold water

    Recipe



    Cut first three ingredients with pastry cutter. By hand, form into a mound with a small hole in the top to hold the wet ingredients. In half cup, place egg, vinegar and enough cold water to fill to top. Carefully pour into other ingredients. Carefully knead. This recipe makes two large pie crusts or three small.

    For a cream filling, bake crust 15 minutes at 450 degrees.

    For a fruit pie, bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees, then at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
