    Christmas Cookies

    Recipe Introduction

    I had problems every year trying to make rolled Christmas cookies... they were such a sticky mess! When I found this recipe it worked out so great and tastes like heaven! My girls and I have made them several times each Christmas season!

    List of Ingredients

    4 1/2 cups flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    2 sticks butter
    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe

    Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients one cup at a time, alternating with milk and vanilla, beating after each addition. Wrap and chill dough at least one hour. Divide dough into four pieces. Knead in enough flour, and flour surface. Roll one section at a time and cut with large holiday cookie cutters. Place on greased sheets. Bake at 365 degrees for 10 to 11 minutes.
