CINNAMON BUTTER ROLLS

Bake at 375F.
One of our most famous Frazier mothers, Mrs. Gilmore, was the Regional winner of the 1966 Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest!!
List of Ingredients
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup soft shortening
Instructions
- In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and about half of the flour. Beat thoroughly for 2 minutes. Add egg and shortening. Gradually beat in the remaining flour until smooth. Shape; let rise until double in size in a warm place (50 to 60 minutes).
- Drop by spoon into greased muffin tins (about half full). Let rise until double in size.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375F. Immediately dip in melted butter then in a mixture of 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Serve hot.
