    Cream Cheese Canapes

    List of Ingredients





    16 oz. cream cheese
    6 Tblsp. mayonnaise
    6 drops Tabasco Sauce
    8 tsp. finely chopped green onion
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    butter at room temperature
    sundried tomatoes, packed in oil, drained
    2 mini loaves party rye bread
    3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Cut each slice of bread diagonally in two. Spread
    butter thinly over each triangle of bread, place
    buttered side up on a cookie sheet and lightly brown
    in oven or broil very briefly.

    Mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Tabasco Sauce,
    green onion and cayenne pepper into paste. Pile about
    1 Tblsp. on each triangle of bread on the unbuttered
    side. Sprinkle with parmesan, about 1 tsp. on each.
    Top each canape with 1/4 of a sundried tomato. Freeze.

    Bake frozen at 375° for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
