    Garlic Bread with Sautèed Mushrooms

    List of Ingredients






    1 pkg. large mushrooms -- (10 oz.) sliced
    1 pkg. shitake mushrooms -- (3 1/2 oz.) stems
    removed
    1 Tbsp. Bertolli Extra Virgin or Classico Olive
    Oil
    2 Tbsps. minced fresh parsley
    2 Tbsps. minced fresh basil
    Salt and pepper to taste
    4 thick slices Italian bread
    1 garlic clove -- halved

    Recipe



    Using a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat; cook mushrooms in oil until
    browned, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the parsley, basil, salt and
    pepper; remove from the heat. Toast bread; rub one side of bread lightly
    with cut side of the garlic. Place bread onto serving plates. Spoon
    mushrooms onto bread. Servings: 4
