    CHOCOLATE WHIPPED CREAM PIE

    List of Ingredients




    2 (1 oz each) squares unsweetened chocolate
    3/4 c sugar
    Pinch of salt
    5 T flour
    13 oz can evaporated milk
    2 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 c water
    2 c miniature marshmallows
    1/4 c butter
    9" graham crust
    1/2 pt whipping cream
    1/4 c sugar

    Recipe



    Melt chocolate squares in double boiler. Add sugar, salt, flour and 1/3 c of
    the evaporated milk. Mix well. Add a small amount of the hot mixture to the
    egg yolks and mix well. Add this yolk mixture to the rest of the chocolate
    mixture in the double boiler. Stir in water and remaining evaporated milk.
    Cook over boiling water until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat. Add marshmallows and butter, stirring until melted. Cool.
    Pour into crust. Chill. Combine whipping cream and the 1/4 c sugar, beat
    until stiff peaks form. Spread over pie. Sprinkle with grated chocolate if
    desired. Refrigerate.
