    Potato Strogannoff

    List of Ingredients







    1 1/3c. water
    2 Tbsp butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. Instant potato flakes
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    parsley
    paprika
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    5/8 oz. pkg.brown gravy mix
    1 71/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. dill weed

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 F.

    In medium saucepan, combine water and butter, bring to a rolling
    boil. Remove from heat. Add milk, potato flakes,and 1/4 cup sour
    cream. Mix well and set aside.

    In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Add gravy
    mix, 1/2 cup water and mushrooms; cook and stir until thickened.
    Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup sour cream and dill weed. Spoon into
    ungreased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Spread evenly with potato mixture.
    Sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 20 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
