    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1-3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp peppermint extract
    8 oz chocolate-flavored candy coating
    1 (6 oz.) pkg semisweet chocolate chips



    Recipe



    Beat together:
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg

    Add:
    1-3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp baking soda


    Stir in:
    1 tsp peppermint extract

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350* for 8-10 min. Cool on racks.

    Melt together in double boiler:

    8 oz chocolate-flavored candy coating
    1 (6 oz.) pkg semisweet chocolate chips

    Drop each cooled cookie into chocolate to coat, Shake off excess. Place on waxed paper and allow chocolate to harden. Makes about 36.
