    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. Crisco
    4 Tbsp. thick sour milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour

    Recipe



    Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs.
    Add sour milk and soda; beat until mixed.
    Add flour, salt, nutmeg and baking powder,
    1/2 cup at a time.

    Roll out on floured surface and cut.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
